The Saarland School Museum in Ottweiler offers exhibits from 1000 years of school history on several floors. Many school classes and visitors enjoy the guided tours offered by the museum or explore the showcases and rooms on their own. The constantly changing exhibition offers also provide new impressions for those who have already been there, while the residential town of Ottweiler provides the historic ambiance for an exciting excursion into the history of the school.

The building of the school museum was built around 1800 as a residential house. In 1905, a renovation and conversion took place, so that a household school could be established there. After the war, it served as a pure residential house again. For the museum, the spatial condition of 1905 was largely restored.
